Optimal actuator and control solutions for air flow control

In case of fire, motorised fire dampers are moved to the safety position (closed) using the spring energy of the fire damper actuator if:

The operating temperature is exceeded in the duct or in the environment,
A smoke detector is triggered,
The supply voltage fails,
The ventilation system is shutdown,
The fire alarm system responds.

The Safety Position Lock™ function keeps the motorised fire dampers in the safety position in case of fire.
